He received his education in the rural schools, took special work at Iowa state college, has been an officer of the Clinton County Farmers institute seven years, two of the years served as president of the same. He is a member of the Norwegian Lutheran church. Was elected representative in 1920, also re-elected in 1922. A republican in politics.
