Representative of Scott county, was born on a farm in Sumner county, Kan;, in 1887, educated in the public schools and graduated from high school. He has been a resident of Iowa since 1939, during which year he came to Davenport, taking up the study of chiropractic. Graduated from the Palmer School of Chiropractic and since that time has been connected with this school in an official capacity, as registrar and general manager. Was married in 1910 to Hazel D. Johnson, at Winfield, Kan., has no children. He is a member of all Masonic bodies and of the B.P.O.E., elected representative in 1919, 1921 and 1922. A republican in politics.
