Born in 1850, in Holstein, Germany, son of Henning and Wiebke (Matthiesen) Lundt. They were farmers by occupation. Mr. Lundt came to the United States in 1868, locating near Davenport, Iowa, where he worked on a farm. In 1874, he moved to Grundy County, where he remained five years and in 1879 came to Tama County, and located on a farm in Lincoln. Mr. Lundt is a member of the Lutheran Church. In politics he is an Independent. He was married in 1880, to Miss Lena Lage.
