Born in York County, Pennsylvania on April 25, 1791, to Thomas Majors and Mary Fullerton. Andrew married Elizabeth Green (1782-1850) and had 4 children. The family lived in Clinton, Indiana in the 1830 and 1840 census. By 1850 they had moved to Wapello County, Iowa. He farmed 500 acres in Wapello County. He served in the House of Representatives Third General Assembly (1850-1851). He passed away on March 8, 1864 in Competine, Wapello County, Iowa.
