Born on August 5, 1862, in Warren, Illinois, and died May 17, 1920, in Vermillion, Illinois. He was the son of John E. Willet and Jane Willet. He married Annie Mae Sturges in 1890 in Illinois. They had four children. He was a banker and involved in real estate. He was one of the owners of the bank in Oto, Iowa. Mr. Willett represented Woodbury county in the Twenty-ninth General Assembly. He was a Republican in politics.
