Crawford County
Born August 3, 1851, in Ohio. He was a lawyer and a teacher. The 1891 Prairie City News reported: Mr. Roberts died August 22, 1891, at the home of his father-in-law, Dr. H. C. Gill. He was about 40 years of age. He was elected to the General Assembly from Crawford County in the fall of 1885 and was at that time practicing law at Denison. He went to Sioux City after his term expired. He leaves a wife and son.
