George Homer Clark was the son of Samuel and Rebecca (Ewart) Clark and was born in Godmanchester, Huntingdon, Canada on September 4, 1850. His family moved to Iowa in 1853 and he resided in Scott County. He married Catherine Rucker on September 4, 1870 in Belle Plaine, Iowa. They had 5 children. In 1886 he served as trustee Hickory Grove Township, Donahue, Iowa. He was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives for the 21st General Assembly (1886-1888). He and his family moved to Nebraska and for many years they made their home on a farm one mile north and one west of Diller, Nebraska. In 1901 he moved to Tacoma, Wash., where he resided until his death at age 82 on January 22, 1933.
