Hiram Bailey
Chickasaw County
Born July 12, 1824, in Townsend, Erie County, Ohio, the son of Benjamin and Philena Bailey. He was married to Miss Martha A. Odgen. Mr. Bailey was a farmer by trade. He was elected to represent Chickasaw, Bremer, and Howard Counties in the Iowa Senate in the Fifteenth and Sixteenth General Assemblies, 1874, 1876. He died December 26, 1896.
