Henry Felkner
Johnson County
Born April 18, 1810, in Fairfield County, Ohio. He moved to Indiana in 1835 and came to Iowa Territory in 1837. He represented Johnson County in the House of Representatives of the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Legislative Assemblies of the Iowa Territory from 1840 to 1843, and when the first convention was called to form a state constitution in 1844. Following the expiration of his term, Mr. Felkner returned to Ohio and married Elizabeth Lewis. He then returned to Johnson County, Iowa, with his wife and is recorded by the census as living there in 1850. He died in Wapsinonoc Township, Iowa on May 7, 1885.
