Born 1807 in Kentucky. Mr. Lester moved to Davis County, Iowa, and married Rhoda Johnson. They had 8 children. He spent his entire life as a farmer. Mr. Lester served in the 7th and 8th Legislative Assemblies (1845-1846). He passed away on June 25, 1880.
