Born in Hubbard on Sept. 27,1936, son of Maurice and Fern Cook. Graduated from New Providence High School. B.S., Iowa State University, 1960. Farm Youth Exchangee to England, Wales 1958; state 4-H and state FFA officer. Married Margaret Speas. Four sons. Iowa Master Pork Producer and Pork All American. Member, Hardin County Farm Bureau, State Farm Bureau Board and Honey Creek-New Providence Friends Church. First term.
