M.A., University of Northern Iowa, 1960. High school and college coach, teacher and administrator, 15 years; utility executive since 1966. Married Jacquelyn Moore of Osage, 1950. One son and two daughters. World War II Navy Air Corps, 3 1/2 years. Member, St. Thomas Episcopal Church, past senior warden; past member and president, Sioux City School Board; past president, Sertoma Club; past master, Tyrian Lodge. Member: York Rite, Shrine Chanters, White Horse Patrol, and Shrine Consistory. Past commodore and president, River-Cade. Prairie Gold Boy Scout Council board member, Siouxland Press Club member, Sioux City Concert Course board member, Phi Delta Kappa. First term.
