Webster City Hamilton County Republican. Born December 26, 1926, in Jefferson, Iowa. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lee. Graduated Eldora High School, 1944; LL.B. degree, Drake University, 1952. Served U.S. Navy 1944-1946. Married Mary Louise Lichty and they have four children: Deanna, Barbara, Clayton and Richard. Member of Methodist Church, Iowa State Bar Association, past president Hamilton County Bar Association; previously served as Hamilton County Attorney; American Judicature Society, Chamber of Commerce, American Legion, Elks, Masons and Eastern Star. Lawyer. Elected to first term.
