Served two years in Danish Army. Married in Lemvig, Denmark, 1950. Three children, Bonita, Edward and Timothy. Member of Farm Bureau and Toastmasters International. Precinct Chairman; Extension Council member and past president; 4-H Counselor; camp counselor for church groups (10 years); member of Men's Council for District, State and National Presbytery. Elected to first term.
