Denison Crawford County Republican. Born November 28, 1915, at Dow City, Iowa. Son of James and Etta Clark. Graduated from the Dow City High School, 1933. Served in the armed forces from 1942-1946. Married Beth Hall in 1946, at Goldendale, Washington. Have one daughter, Becky, and three sons, Jim, Russell and Randall. Owns own business grain, feed and fertilizer. Member of the Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Abu Beker Shrine. Member and president of Iowa Grain and Feed Association. Member and past president of Denison Chamber of Commerce. Member and past president of Crawford County Industrial & Development Corp. Past chairman Crawford County Republican Party. Member Board of directors Midwestern College. Alternate delegate to the 1964 Republican Convention at San Francisco. Member of the Optimists Club, V.F.W. and American Legion. Serving first term in the General Assembly.
