In grocery business at Leland 18 years; auto and machinery business Lake Mills, three years, Kaiser Frazer, International Harvester, Oliver, Massey Harris; five years Ford dealer, Forest City; six years employed at Forest City Eymann implement Company handling Pontiac, Cadillac and John Deere farm equipment. Farm owner. Two years hog and cattle business; two years, insurance business; two years U.S. navy, World War II. Member Elks Club, Lions. Member American Legion 20 years. Democratic County chairman, Winnebago County, six years. Member St. James Catholic Church, Forest City. Serving first term, second session.
