Leon Decatur County Republican Born March 31, 1924, in Hatfield, Mo., son of Benjamin S. and Mabel Stuck Warren. At 9 became son of foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer W. Townsley of Leon. Attended Decatur County Elementary School, graduate of Harper Kansas High School, graduate of Capitol City Commercial College of Des Moines 1927. Married Thelma Main in 1926 in Oklahoma. Children: Donella (Mrs. R. E. Herring), Ann (Mrs. M. E. Newlin), and Danny L. Livestock farmer. Owned and operated Warren Propane Gas business 1953-1963. Member of Church of Christ, Farm Bureau, state and county historical societies. Served three years as secretary of county Farm Bureau and county chairman of 4-H committee. Present vice-president of Midwest Bible camp board of directors. Serving first term.
