Born about 1818 in Kentucky. In 1848, Mr. Presenton and Emily Bishop were married in Lawrence County, Indiana. They had three children. He was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives for the 3rd General Assembly from Monroe County. By 1880 his family had moved to Pottawattamie County. He died May 18, 1894 at Cripple Creek, Colorado.
