Born April 29, 1826, Potsdam, St. Lawrence County, New York. He served in the Civil War, Company S. 14th Infantry. He was a dry good merchant and farmer. Mr. Noble married Laura E. Bigelow on May 17, 1849, in Defiance, Ohio. He represented Fayette County, Iowa in the Eighth General Assembly, 1860. He was a Republican in politics and a Mason.
