Born in Massachusetts in 1829. He moved to Iowa in 1854. In 1860, George T. and his wife Alice, are living in Johnson County. He is a farmer. Mr. Davis represented Johnson County in the Eighth General Assembly, 1860. He was a Republican in politics. In April 1861 Davis had moved from his district leaving his seat vacant. John C. Culbertson filled the vacancy.
