Born on March 12, 1835, in Medford, Massachusetts. Mr. Hadley married Eliza A Nourse on November 17, 1861, in his hometown. They had five children in 14 years. Mr. Hadley was elected to represent Madison County in the lower House in the Seventeenth Iowa General Assembly, 1878. He died on November 29, 1903, in Arlington, Massachusetts, at the age of 68.
