Married Leona H. Frederickson and they have two sons, DeVere of Dayton; and Dennis of Storm Lake and three grandchildren. Has been in the grocery and resort business and with the Iowa Department of Agriculture 1952-64, Hotel-Restaurant Division. Member of the Lutheran Church, 5 years Board of Deacons, 3 years Chairman of the Congregation. Elected to second term.
