Past President Iowa Seed Dealers, Past Chairman American Seed Trade Association's Hybrid Corn Division, member ISU Dean of Agriculture Advisory Committee, member Original Board of Directors of the U.S. Feed Grain Council and Director Belmond Development Corp. Vice President of Tomco Genetic Giant, Inc., 1950 to 1966. Methodist; married to Frances Winter Clarke, one daughter, Jeanne Marie; member Lions, Clarmond Country Club, Elks, Masons, El Kahir Shrine and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Elected Nov. 8, 1966.
