Born in Guernsey county, Ohio, January 4 1850. He removed with his father's family in August, 1864, to Iowa, and located near Afton, in Union county. The land upon which the family settled in 1864 is a part of the farm now owned by Mr. Morrow. He was educated in the public schools of Afton and graduated from the high school. Mr. Morrow represented Union county in the Twenty-third and Twenty-fourth General Assemblies and was a member of the board of directors of the State Fair Association for eight years, serving one year as vice president. He was state treasurer from 1906 to 1912.
