Graduated from Ellsworth High School 1941, and was enrolled in vocational agriculture course for two years in Story City. Farmer. He and his wife, Eleanor, were married at the Methodist Church in Radcliffe, Iowa, 1944. Children: Clydene, LeAnn, Debra, Jill. Member United Methodist Church, Ellsworth Legion, Ellsworth Businessmen, Farm Bureau, Jewell Golf and Country Club. Army 1946. Board of supervisors nine years and Welfare Board eight years. President District I County Officers Assn. Second term.
