Another of the very young men of the approaching assembly is the Hon. T. L. Kelly of Brayton, Audubon county. He was born in Cass county, Iowa, April 4, 1870, and has been a resident of the state his entire life. Mr. Kelly has the distinguishment of being the first democrat ever sent from Audubon county to the legislature. He married Maggie McGovern September 7, 1894. To them has been born one child, a boy now 2 years old. Mr. Kelly is a Catholic. He desires this winter to see a law passed to remove the circle from the ballot, a matter in which he is much interested. United with his native Iowa industry and progress, is the inheritance of the energy of his Irish ancestry. Mr. Kelly has been active in the democracy of his county since he attained his majority, and that his services are appreciated is evidenced by his election to the prominent position he will occupy this winter.
