The first few years of his business life Mr. Conley was engaged in school teaching, but later years has found him successfully engaged in farming. He belongs to the unmarried portion of the assembly, and is 30 years old, a native Iowan. He belongs to the minority in the house, having been elected to the legislature by the democrats of Clayton county.
