Washington county will be represented in the house this session by the Hon. A. N. Alberson, a prominent citizen of Washington. He was nominated and elected to the position he will occupy by the democrats, with which party he has affiliated earnestly in Washington county. He is a native of Ohio, born in Ashland county, September 4, 1849. He was married to Miss Sarah Hebmer January 7, 1874. They have three children, one son 22 years old, and two daughters, 15 and 7 years of age. Mr. Alberson has been a resident of this state for just a quarter of a century. He is a member of the Methodist church and of the Masonic lodge, in which organization he has held some prominent local positions. He has never been a political office-seeker, having held none but that of member of school board, which he has filled most acceptably for thirteen years. Mr. Alberson is in the grocery business in Washington. He enjoys the friendship of his fellow citizens, and is highly respected in his community.
