Graduated from Iowa State Teachers 1958 with a B.A. degree in physical education and biological sciences. Married Sharon Head in Tama 1958. Two sons, Brent and Michael. Employed as a teacher of mentally and physically handicapped children. Roman Catholic. Member of Iowa State Education and National Education Association. National Association Retarded Children, Knights of Columbus, Jaycees, St. Vincent De Paul Society. Employed by Waterloo School District 1958-1965. Black Hawk County Schools 1965-71. Serving second term.
