Born April 6, 1869, in Crescent City. For years an active worker in the democratic party of Council Bluffs and Pottawattamie county and former state senator from this county. Mr. Goodwin served as deputy under Sheriff Hazen, in the late nineties, and later ran for he state senate. He also served as democratic county chairman. For years Mr.Goodwin had been in the automobile business. He was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church of Omans. He was a charter member of the local Eagles Lodge.
