Served four years as mayor and four years as city solicitor of Osceola. Is a member of the Methodist church; also of the Knights of Pythias and A.F. & A.M. societies. Was married in 1897 to Miss Cora Pritchett of Osceola, Iowa. Elected representative in 1910 and senator in 1912. A republican in politics.
