Taught school and studied law, and was admitted to the bar in 1894, since which time he has practiced his profession in Osceola. Served four years as mayor and four years as city solicitor of Osceola. Is a member of the Methodist church; also of the Knights of Pythias and A.F. & A.M. societies. Was married in 1897 to Miss Cora Pritchett of Osceola, Iowa. Elected representative in 1910 and senator in 1912. A republican in politics.

Elected representative in 1910. A Republican in politics.
