Representative from Harrison county. Born March 9, 1874, at Missouri Valley, Harrison county, Iowa. Received his education in rural schools and Woodbine Normal, Woodbine, Iowa. Has been school teacher, farmer, county recorder of Harrison county two terms and county auditor three terms. Married August 12, 1920, to Audrey Cronk of Logan, Iowa. To this union was born one daughter, Mary Catherine. Mr. Owens is a Mason, Odd Fellow and in politics a republican.
