Ames District 41 Republican Born in Nevada Dec. 17, 1917, son of Harry and Ethel Dunlap. Attended Ames Public Schools and graduated Iowa State University 1940 with BS in Industrial Economics. Married Margaret Jacobucci of Green River, Wyo., 1941. Four children, Margo (Mrs. Charles Reeg), John N., Lynn (Mrs. Gary Benton), and Kim. Air Corps, Sales management with Coca-Cola Company, founder and owner of Motor Sales and Service, Inc., of Ames, 1945 to 1971. Served as president of Ames Zoning Board of Adjustment, Ames Industrial Development Corporation, Kiwanis Club, Civil Service Commission, and Iowa Auto Dealers Association. Board member Community Chest, ISU Athletic Council, ex-officio member of ISU Alumni Achievement Fund, Chamber of Commerce, and 'Boss of the Year' award 1966. Regional chairman Dodge Dealers Assn., board member National Dodge Dealers Advisory Council. Protestant. First term.
