Air Corps, Sales management with Coca-Cola Company, founder and owner of Motor Sales and Service, Inc., of Ames, 1945 to 1971. Served as president of Ames Zoning Board of Adjustment, Ames Industrial Development Corporation, Kiwanis Club, Civil Service Commission, and Iowa Auto Dealers Association. Board member Community Chest, ISU Athletic Council, ex-officio member of ISU Alumni Achievement Fund, Chamber of Commerce, and 'Boss of the Year' award 1966.
