Fort Dodge. Senator from the Twenty-seventh District composed of Webster and Calhoun Counties. Mr. Breen was born in Estherville, Emmet County, Iowa, on March 18, 1899. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, and the law college at Drake University. Mr. Breen was county attorney of Webster County, 1933-1937. He engaged in the practice of law with his older brother, Maurice Breen. He married Elizabeth Loomis, of Fort Dodge, and has two children, Alan and Diane. He was a member of the American Legion, president Young Democratic Clubs of Iowa, 1933-1934; national committeeman, 1935-1937. Mr. Breen was elected to senate in 1936. A democrat.
