Graduate of Pella high school; University of Iowa, B.A. degree, 1911; LL.B. Drake university, 1913, and admitted to practice. Married Jessie M. Forsyth of Humboldt, Iowa, December 3, 1913. Has two children, Donald Forsyth Klein, attorney-at-law, and Bonnie, Mrs. John H. Smith, Jr. In law practice at Pella, Iowa; city attorney, member of Iowa State bar association, Pella Lodge No. 55, A.F. & A.M., Kiwanis. Elected to Senate and served in 51st and 52nd sessions.
