ERWIN A. DENNIS Professor emeritus of the University of Northern Iowa. Born and raised in Lyons, NE. Resides in Cedar Falls. Received A.A. from Northeast Community College, B.A. and M.A. from the University of Northern Colorado, and earned Doctor of Education from Texas A&M University. Served on Cedar Falls Board of Education and Hawkeye Community College Board of Trustees. Member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls and church council member. Former council president and building chair. Member of Rotary Club of Cedar Falls, Cedar Falls Chamber of Commerce, Cedar Valley Graphic Arts Association, International Graphic Arts Education Association Inc., Association of Community College Trustees, International Technology Education Association, and Association for Career and Technical Education. Wife LaVanda; three sons and two grandchildren. Serving first term in House.
