Attended Long Grove Elementary school, Davenport High School and graduated from St. Ambrose College, Davenport, in 1962 with a B.A. degree in Business Administration. Single. Office manager for an insurance company. Member of National Guard. Member, Long Grove Civic League, the Izaak Walton League, Scott County J.P. Association and Long Grove Volunteer Fire Department. Member, Knights of Columbus and Modern Woodmen of America. Member, Long Grove town council and justice of the peace at Long Grove and a township committeeman. First session in the general assembly.
