Le Claire Scott County Democrat. Born in Scott County, Iowa, January 31, 1919, eldest of six children of John and Mary Lawlor, Durant, Iowa. Graduate of Bennett High School. Married Myrlyn Kerr of Canton, Mo., and is the father of two children, Daniel P. and Maria P. Technician at Aluminum Company of America, Riverdale, Iowa. World War II Air Force service as ground instructor; past president of Le Claire Civic Club; member of executive board, Local 1379, I.B.E.W.; member of American Legion; member of St. Henry's Catholic church. Serving first term.
