Logan Harrison County Democrat. Born in Wapello, Louisa County, Iowa, May 4, 1916, son of John A. Korn. Educated in public schools and graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor of science degree in agronomy in 1947. Married Dorothy C. Clausen, February 1, 1948; no children. Farming since 1948 and worked eight years with the U.S. Soil Conservation Service. Navy veteran of World War II, in Pacific area. Member of Kiwanis Club, Farmers Union and Lutheran Church. First session in General Assembly.
