Gilmore City Humboldt and Pocahontas Counties Democrat. Born April 4, 1904, Blairsburg, Hamilton County, Iowa. A graduate of Blairsburg High School and attended State College of Iowa, Cedar Falls. Now a resident of Gilmore City, he taught in rural schools, was employed by lumber yard, owned and operated movie theatre and now engaged in farming own farm. Served on town council in Gilmore City and concerned about the future of small towns, small schools and small farms. Married, six children. Member of Catholic Church. Serving first term.
