Newton Jasper County Democrat. Born January 2, 1916, at New Virginia, Iowa, the son of Glenn B. and Leila Jane Fullmer. Graduated from Newton Community High School in 1935. Married Ruby M. Rhoades December 27, 1938. One son, Lieut. Bruce K. Fullmer. A merchant. Former mayor and city councilman, member of future planning and zoning committee. Member, First Lutheran Church. Delegate to last four Democratic state conventions. Serving first term.
