Manager, Farmers Cooperative Elevator and Exchange at Centerdale four years. Has been engaged in farming since 1925. Married to Mary Thomason in 1920, and has five children, LaMar, Jr., Derrold, Doris Jean, Mary Jeanette and Audrey Fern. Member of the Masonic order and member of the M. E. church. Elected representative in 1932, in 1934 and 1936. Elected speaker of the house of representatives for the forty-seventh general assembly. A democrat.
