Farmer. Born in Rockwell, raised and currently resides near Mason City. Graduate of Mason City High School. Received A.A. from Mason City Community College, B.A. from Wartburg College and M.S.E. from Bemidji State University. Served on Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors. Member of Mason City Evening Lions Club, Clear Lake EDC, Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce and Clear Lake Existing Business and Industry Roundtable. Former member of Burchinal Co-op Elevator and Cerro Gordo County Extension Council. Wife Carolyn and two daughters. Serving first term in House.
