Married Marshall Smith of Columbus Junction, 1945. Three daughters. Member, St. John's United Methodist Church. Past president: Davenport Jaycettes, Fairmount Pre-school for Multi-handicapped, Friendly House, and River Bend and Mississippi Valley Girl Scout Councils. Member, United Neighborhood Centers of America, board of directors. First term.
