In World War II, served in Marine Corps in the Pacific theater. Member: V.F.W., American Legion and Buchanan County Wild Life. Served as township school director, 4-H leader, D.H.I.A. supervisor, township A.S.C. chairman, and chairman of Buchanan County Democratic Central Committee. Fifth term. Serving on Agriculture, Appropriations, Ways and Means, Claims, Human Resources, and Appropriation Subcommittee of Human Resources.
