Graduated University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, in 1972. In grocery business since 1973. Married Evelyn Boofer in 1961, 2 sons, Steven and Mikel. Served in the USAF four years, 1961-65. Chairman of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Elma. Member of American Legion, Howard Co. Farm Bureau, Sportsmans Club in Elma. First term.
