I support this bill. Farmers should be allowed to make off farm milk sales. We are an ag state and we have brilliant farmers. We can figure this one out so that the demand for this product is getting met by IOWAN farmers instead of the farmers in our surrounding states. Please See the attached map to see how Iowa limits our farmers as compared to other states in our nation.

While I think the bill for the sale of raw milk is long overdo I dont like that its limited to certain dairies. If we are able to make the decision to buy raw milk, why do you get to decide where I buy it from? What kind of limitations and requirements for the farmers will you be putting in place? This is not a win for raw milk sales.

I support this bill. And I support Iowa farms being able to provide raw dairy for Iowans. I can visit my family in the states surrounding Iowa and drink raw milk there, but I can't get it in my own state. We need people to advocate for the people of Iowa instead of for big dairy and big Ag. We appreciate the efforts to make this change permanent to let the people of Iowa choose for ourselves.

I support this bill. Individuals should have the right to feed themselves and their families natural, unadulterated products including raw milk. The processed food industry is destroying our health.

I support this bill. Iowa is one of only 5 states that don't allow for the sale of raw milk. Let us join the other states who under the economic, agricultural, and nutritional benefits of raw milk.

I support this bill. We can make our own informed decisions about what foods we choose to consume. This is long overdue. Look at all of the states which allow access to raw milk sales. We cant claim to be about freedom in Iowa and then tell people what they can and cannot eat.

Those that want raw milk are already getting it from out of state. Lets allow the sale of raw milk in Iowa so we can support OUR farmers. Let the people decide what is right for them to consume. Many people are sensitive or allergic to pasteurized dairy but can handle raw just fine. Lets make raw milk easily available for those individuals.

I am in favor of this bill. The legal selling of raw milk in Iowa is long overdue. I cannot understand why a state so substantially rooted in agriculture would hinder their own farmers from selling their raw milk goods when 40+ other states allow their citizens to do so. Iowa needs to step up & get this passed. This has right has been denied to Iowans for too long. Not only for producers but for consumers.Please pass this bill right across the finish line this year!

I support this bill and offer evidence that rates of outbreaks, illnesses, and hospitalizations and deaths are not increasing for raw milk. Also, a recently published systematic review reported higher risk for pasteurized milk.

I support this bill as a medical microbiologist and microbial risk assessor. I present evidence that rates of outbreaks, illnesses and hospitalizations and deaths are NOT increasing for raw milk. Also, pasteurized milk has higher risk of fatal illness from a recently published systematic review.

I have 4 children whose bodies don't tolerate store milk. Three of them can drink raw milk without adverse effects! They deserve to be able to have milk instead of nut water. Pass the raw milk bill!
