ADOPTION OF HOUSE RESOLUTION 19
Heaton of Henry called up for consideration House Resolution
19, a resolution honoring Iowa Wesleyan College and its Responsible
Social Involvement Program, and moved its adoption.
The motion prevailed and the resolution was adopted.
SPECIAL PRESENTATION
Heaton of Henry introduced to the House the President of
Wesleyan College, David Johnson, who addressed the House briefly,
thanking them for the honor.
The House rose and expressed its welcome.
ADOPTION OF HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 6
Hansen of Pottawattamie called up for consideration House
Concurrent Resolution 6, a concurrent resolution relating to the
federal Medicare program and requesting assistance from the federal
government, and moved its adoption.
The motion prevailed and the resolution was adopted.
CONSIDERATION OF BILLS
Regular Calendar
House File 240, a bill for an act relating to the composition of the
Iowa egg council, was taken up for consideration.
S. Olson of Clinton moved that the bill be read a last time now and
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read
a last time.
