  Senator Johnson offered amendment S-3717, filed by her from the
  floor striking everything after the enacting clause and to the title
  page of the bill, and moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-3717 was adopted by a voice vote.

  With the adoption of amendment S-3717, the Chair ruled the
  following amendments out of order:

  S-3686, filed by Senator Gronstal, et al., previously deferred;
  S-3673, filed by the committee on Commerce on May 7, 2001, to
  pages 1-4 of the bill;
  S-3685, filed by Senator Johnson on May 7, 2001, to pages 1, 3,
  and 4 of amendment S-3673;
  S-3689, filed by Senator Johnson on May 7, 2001, to pages 1, 3,
  and 4 of amendment S-3673;
  S-3352, filed by Senator Connolly on April 12, 2001, to page 1 of
  the bill;
  S-3691, filed by Senator Johnson on May 7, 2001, to pages 1 and 2
  of the bill;
  S-3687, filed by Senator Freeman, et al., on May 7, 2001, to page 2
  of the bill; and
  S-3701, filed by Senator Johnson on May 8, 2001, to page 4 of the
  bill.

  Senator Jensen moved that the bill be read the last time now and
  placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
  the bill was read the last time.

  On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (H.F. 577), the vote was:
