  INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTIONS

  Senate Resolution 52, by committee on Rules and
  Administration, a Senate resolution urging the Iowa congressional
  delegation to support and work to implement the renewal of the trade
  promotion authority of the President of the United States.

  Read first time and placed on calendar.

  Senate Resolution 53, by Iverson and Gronstal, a Senate
  resolution honoring Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr. Norman E.
  Borlaug, and recognizing his contributions to alleviating world
  hunger and malnutrition, including the founding of the World Food
  Prize.

  Read first time and referred to committee on Rules and
  Administration.

  Final Bill Action:  HOUSE FILE 758, a bill for an act providing for
  congressional and
  legislative districts and providing an effective date.

  Recommendation:  DO PASS.
